George brightened at the knock at the door. It was "Shave and a Haircut," the same knock he always gave. He still looked through the peephole but knew all along who it was.
"Trevor!" he exclaimed once the door was unchained.
Green eyes glinted in the dark, and strong arms balanced a bouquet of daffodils and a plate wrapped in plastic.
"I'd hug you, but then you'd be wearing these," Trevor explained. He entered and set everything down on the dining room table. "OK, now," he suggested, arms outstretched.
George embraced his son, but with lips pursed. Trevor took care not to hurt him.
"You know," George said, "it's a shame to wear such a nice suit with all that scruff on your face."
"It's fur, Dad," Trevor retorted.
The kitchen door opened, and a tall, thin woman of about forty approached with a bowl of potato salad.
"Tessie!" Trevor yelped, and ran across the room to nuzzle her before she could put the bowl down. She giggled, sounding significantly younger.
"Help with anything?" Trevor i

I'm angry, I'm prowling
I'm baying for blood
I'm snarling, I'm howling
I'm tracking your footprints in the mud
I'll hunt you down, I'll find you now
nothing but death will stop me
you'll have to put me down
I'll bring you to your knees
I'll make you beg - PLEASE!
My eyes are red
you took away my dead
you ripped apart my dear friend
now I'm going to bring you to your end
I'll bite out your throat
I'm going to paint the walls with your blood - soaked
I'll tear your heart out while it's beating
and as your eyes fade to black, I'll smile as I see your life depleting
You should never of touched him
you dared, you did, now you'll feel my blade under your skin
Yeah, look into my eyes and see
that you mean nothing to me!
All you'll see is cold revenge
all you'll feel is your spine bend
as I snap your bones like twigs
when I'm done with you - you'll wish that you never lived
'cause you did your worst
when you r
Christmas with the O'SharpesWhen Cleo woke up, she was lying on the floor of the basement, broken, bleeding, starving with every muscle in her body screaming in protest as she sat up. Of course. Last night had been the full moon. She rubbed the back of her neck, unable to stifle the wounded pang that arose when she thought of how her parents locked her up in her every month. Surely there was some better arrangement.Christmas with the O'Sharpes by Rocky41-7
Looking around, she could see the spots where she'd beaten herself bloody against the walls and doors, and boy she could feel it now. She grasped the wall and pulled herself up, gasping with pain. She pulled the string she'd installed by the door, letting fall the brass key that unlocked the door. The sun was just rising over the green hillside on which her small village was situated.
Cleo clutched her filthy clothes, which she'd had the foresight to remove last evening, to her chest as she slipped into the bathroom. She removed a small washcloth, antiseptic, and gauze and tended to her wounds. After

Kiani Johenson is not an average Lycan. There was something remarkable about her. This was probably due to the fact of she's a Wulfen. A Wulfen is a natural born cross between human and Wolf genes. They are very similar to a werewolf, like a cousin species at best. They shift during the NEW MOON, not full.
Physically, she was attractive enough, as humans tend to go for, some would say. She was just over 5 feet 5 inches, and she had long stringy black hair that refused to be tamed in any way. Her skin was a dark brown, heavily tattooed, (A kind of physical trophy awarded from years of winning battles) an apparent effect of her East African descent.
Her eyes were brown, a deep earth tone. Her build was muscular, similar to that of a martial artist mixed with that of a body-builder, but was still natural nonetheless. She owed that to working her early years on practicing Jujitsu in Eastern Africa, and now Ninjitsu in Japan.
She sat on her bed, getting ready for the Christmas party at Koda
Blossoming Darkness Chapter 2As I drifted off to sleep I dreamt about the woman I had seen that night reaching her hand out and talking to me. "Wake up Thomas." She repeated escalating until she was yelling. I was odd I had never given her my name. I couldn't have given her my name yet she kept repeating it. Suddenly later I felt a sharp pain in my hind leg, and I yelped waking up to see a female wolf with chestnut fur staring at me. "It's about time you woke up." The wolf growled in exasperated tonesBlossoming Darkness Chapter 2 by cheif15
"Logan what was that for?!" I hissed shaking the pain out of my leg
"Well, I've been trying to get you up for the past ten minutes but you wouldn't budge." I'm sure if she could have rolled her eyes, in wolf form, she would have
"Whatever! What are you doing here? No, wait, better question, how did you find me?
"Well. Your scent, duh! It was faint but I was still able to track you down. But if you must know, I'm here because we have a bit of a problem."
"What kind of problem?" She didn't answer. "Logan Ans

The realm of the night is filled with beings thought only to have existed within our deepest fantasies. What if I told you I'm one of those beings, and what if I also told you I fell in love with another?
Being a lycan nothing appealed to me more than running through the forest at night when the moon was high, my paws on the dirt ground, grey fur keeping me warm from the night chill, my tail swishing up and down, and the sight of the passing trees as I ran. I followed my usual path to a special clearing; it was deep in the forest and was a place I thought no one would ever find. It was the place I went to as a human to relax, and find myself, but as a wolf is was my hunting ground. I broke through the brush I scanned over the area nothing seemed to be out of place, it was clear, green, had a few flowers growing in patches within the middle, and the trees surrounded the perimeter giving the area a circle like shape. As I neared the center a peculiar scent came across me: it was warm, li

There is no limit to the amount of visual art submissions you can make in a day
All you have to do to submit is put it in featured. We'll take care of the rest.
Each submission will be reviewed by one of the alphas (administrators) before being posted.
Your submission must have something to do with lycanthropes or werewolves.
If it is a literature submission with lycans or werewolves, it must be about them.
For poetry, it again must be about lycans or werewolves. Trust the alphas' judgement.
You don't have to submit anything to be a member.
You don't have to be a member to submit anything. However, as a non-member, you are only allowed one submission per week, and one favorite suggestion per day.
Respect the alphas. Disrespect will not be tolerated, and there is a zero tolerance policy.
Do not ask for a position as an alpha. We will decide, case by case, if a position is deserved. If you ask, it will count against you.
Have fun here. Whether you believe in lycans or not is irrelevant.
Do not change forms in public. We don't want to deal with the aftermath.
You do not need to ask to affiliate or join. If you send an invitation to affiliate, please state your reason in the message box given.
Submissions with simply normal wolves will not be accepted. We love them, but they aren't werewolves or lycans.
Only administrators get special folders for their series.
I review each case when considering banning someone. The judgement is fair in my eyes, so it's fair. If you have a problem, take it up with . However, only do this if you honestly feel like I haven't listened.
NO PORNOGRAPHY!!! There may be nudity in an image, but it must not be the focus of the image. The definition of pornography is up the the discretion of the administrators. If, perchance, one does get through, I'll be sure to personally remove it. You are not in trouble for submitting or trying to submit any, but you must be more careful.
Only three literature submissions that are more than one page a week. It is difficult to read through every one when my inbox is crowded. Admins are exempt from this rule.
Please save your own time and don't write a message to join. All requests are auto-accepted.
These rules are the rules. Even if they are as of three years ago, these are what you must follow.
